The SoundWare XS 5.1 Loudspeaker System is an ultra-compact 5.1 speaker system that brings a new level of style and substance to the fast-growing surround sound home entertainment category. It allows users to enjoy rich, room-filling surround sound with their home entertainment systems, while complementing virtually any décor in a stylish yet subtle (even virtually unnoticeable, if desired) manner. The system's five ultra-compact and stylish SoundWare XS satellites are real two-way speakers (unlike many competitors). Each features a high-performance 2-1/2 inch (64mm) woofer and a 1/2 inch (13mm) tweeter. The contoured-rectangle subwoofer, colored to match the satellites, features a 100-watt (250 Watts peak) amplifier and 8-inch (203mm) driver.
The SoundWare XS 5.1 speaker system delivers exceptionally articulate on-screen dialog, music, effects, and room filling Bass from a small, sleek package. Compact driver placement and quality, system-specific crossovers assure a wide uniform dispersion for complete coverage of a listening room. All speakers also feature MagnaGuard magnetic shielding which ensures the speakers’ magnetic field does not interfere with the television’s picture.
Brackets for mounting the 5 satellite speakers on a flat wall or in a corner are supplied. One thing that is not supplied is Hardware to attach the bracket to the wall. Why? Because there are so many different kinds of surfaces on which the speakers could be mounted.
