Artist Overview
Tokio Hotel is a German alternative rock band with glam and emo influences. Singer Bill Kaulitz, guitarist Tom Kaulitz, bassist Georg Listing, and drummer Gustav Schaefer formed the band in 2001 under the name Devilish. Following a name change and a brief, abortive deal with Sony BMG, the quartet changed their name to Tokio Hotel and released their first album, SCHREI, in 2005. ZIMMER 483, their 2007 sophomore album, was followed the next year by the group's first English-language album, SCREAM, featuring remakes of tracks from both German releases.
