Eric Church Music
Artist Overview
North Carolinan country artist Eric Church first made an impact in Nashville as a songwriter for other singers. Terri Clark had a hit in 2004 with Church's composition "The World Needs a Drink," and a number of other artists cut his songs before Church finally scored a record deal of his own. His 2006 debut album, SINNERS LIKE ME, revealed a songwriter with a sharp wit, and a singer with a rough-and-rowdy style bearing a bit of Outlaw country influence. A touch of rock & roll in his sound helped Church score high on both the pop and country charts with the album, and three years later the follow-up, CAROLINA, did even better.
