Guillemots Music
Artist Overview
After cutting his teeth in U.K. indie acts during the late 1990s, pop visionary Fyfe Dangerfield formed the Guillemots in London in 2004. While the Guillemots' sound has hints of the atmospheric pop that marked many of the U.K.'s top acts in the early 2000s, Dangerfield brought a truly distinctive vision to his music. The result is a twinkling, lovingly off-kilter take on orchestrated pop. A tour with kindred spirit Rufus Wainwright and two acclaimed short works set the stage for the Guillemots' critically acclaimed 2006 offering, THROUGH THE WINDOWPANE.
