Oneida plays a wholly original, supremely heavy version of classic psychedelic rock. The Brooklyn band's heady sound is built on piercing keyboards, art-damaged guitars, and intense, frenetic drumming; however, Oneida is also capable of moments of unexpected beauty and thoughtful experimentation. Assured of cult status for many years to come, the band released its seventh full-length, THE WEDDING, in 2005.
