Buckcherry Music
Artist Overview
Los Angeles-based hard rock band Buckcherry kept the torch lit for decadent, hard-partying hair-metal bands well after grunge had come along to sweep the genre under the carpet. Greatly inspired by Guns N' Roses and AC/DC, Buckcherry's sound was considerably tougher than the glitzier bands that came before them. They scored a huge hit in 1999 with the cocaine-praising single "Lit Up," and following a hiatus after a disappointing sophomore album, they returned to the charts in 2006 with the controversial single "Crazy Bitch."
