Artist Overview
El-P, Bigg Jus, and Mr. Len made up the New York underground hip-hop group Company Flow. They released their first single in 1993, but by the time they started their own label, Rawkus, and released their FUNCRUSHER EP, they had become a major force in the alternative hip-hop scene, paving the way for many others to follow. Company Flow split up in 2000, with all three members working on solo projects. Def Jux, the label that grew out of Rawkus, remained a primary force in underground hip-hop.
