The game features pick-ups like weapons and shields that affect gameplay. Players can also choose from 8 different karts with each kart having differences in handling, speed and acceleration. Characters also have special powers they can use to advance themselves or slow others down There is a single player mode, time trial, and tournament mode. Players can earn rewards to unlock vehicles, levels and even new special abilities!
