Introduced 8/95, Windows95 is a major upgrade to Windows3.1. It employs a much easier graphic user interface and employs user-friendly dialog boxes. Employs a 32-bit operating architecture and designed for PCs with 386 processors and above. Plug&play compatible with any Windows95-ready peripherals. Includes a networking operating system. A key feature is that an enhanced DOS is integrated into the 95 to eliminate any layering problems of previous Windows versions. Accepts longer file names.
