Shipping Options and Policies
Areas We Ship To
At the present time, we only ship to the Continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, Puerto Rico, and Canada. J&R proudly ships to our Armed Forces APO/FPO customers.
P.O. Box customers - please try to use a regular street address where possible. UPS allows for faster service, better tracking and accountability than postal mail.
You will find Ground shipping charges for your order in the summary section of your shopping cart when you enter your ZIP Code and click "Calculate Total". The basic charge for Ground Shipping on any product can be found on the product information page, by clicking the "Shipping" tab, enter your ZIP Code and click "Calculate Shipping".
Shipping costs for orders are based on weight or dimensional weight (determined by the actual size of the box), whichever is greater. Ground shipping is not available to AK, HI, VI, or Puerto Rico. All shipments to Canada except shipments to P.O. boxes use UPS Ground. We do not ship to P.O. box addresses in the Pacific Rim U.S. territories (Guam, Marshall Islands, Mariana Islands, Palau, etc.); you must have a street address. All orders to U.S. territories will be shipped via UPS Worldwide Service.
For the 48 contiguous United States, J&R offers a variety of shipping options on all electronics-related items: Ground, 2 Day Air, 1 Day Air, and Saturday Delivery. We currently use UPS as our main carrier. US Mail options are used for P.O. boxes and APO/FPO orders. Some overweight or oversized items may not be available for shipment outside the 48 contiguous U.S. or to Post Office Boxes.
Music/Movie orders with up to 2 standard CDs or DVDs are currently shipped via Mail Innovations / US Postal Service for Standard shipping. UPS Ground is also offered as a choice. Music/Movie orders with boxed sets or more than 2 titles will be shipped via UPS Ground or Air Mail for Standard Shipping. Rush Shipping orders will be shipped via UPS 2 Day Service.
The default shipping is Ground Shipping (for heavy-weight items, it may be Freight Shipping). Other shipping options (such as Rush shipping) will be offered during the checkout process.
All orders (other than Music/Movie orders) may require someone to sign for them.
Many items on our site currently feature Free Shipping; you will often see a drawing of a truck with the word "FREE" written on it. These are limited offers and may be withdrawn at any time prior to (but not after) you place an order. Free Shipping applies to orders shipped via Standard Ground shipping (not Rush), applies only within the 48 Contiguous States and may exclude some heavyweight/freight/oversized items and/or volume orders.
Same Day Delivery
Order today and have it ... TODAY! In Manhattan, order most items by 1 PM EST for special low rates and get delivery by 5 PM, Monday - Friday only. For heavier products, and all products to the outer boroughs, order by 3 PM and get delivery by 9 PM. "Same Day" orders placed after 3 PM will be delivered the following business day.
*Sorry, but Music and Movie titles are not yet eligible for Same Day delivery. Order online or phone in your order to 1-800-806-1115. For website orders, each item in your shopping cart must say Expected to Ship On (today's date). During our checkout process, you will see a choice in the Shipping Options for "Same Day". For the most up-to-the-minute options and pricing on Same Day Delivery orders placed after 3 PM, please call us at 1-800-806-1115. This offer is for deliveries in the NYC Metro area only (5 boroughs, parts of Long Island, nearby New Jersey and Connecticut). If you are shipping to a different location than your billing address, it will expedite your order if you call your credit card issuing bank and list this with them as an additional address. Please call us for full details.
Enjoy the convenience of shopping online or by phone (1-800-806-1115) and picking it up In-Store! On the right side of your Shopping Cart on JR.com, you may see "Order is eligible for FREE Store Pickup". Click on the "Pickup" button and follow the instructions. Your order will be put together & waiting for you in a special, dedicated area, away from the crowds and FREE of any additional service charge. After placing your order, please wait for email or phone confirmation that everything is ready to be picked up. Our In-Store Pickup area is located downtown at 19 Park Row, NYC (Door #4 - Lower Level).
Orders placed after 6PM EST will be available for pickup the following day. Orders are held until end of business day of the day after you place your order. All items you place in your cart must say Eligible for FREE Store Pickup or your order won't be eligible. Sorry, but Music and Movie titles are not eligible yet. All orders picked up in the store are subject to the store 14 day returns policy.

The "Expected to Ship" date shown on the product detail page is a guide; shipping date will depend upon the ETA shown in the order process. This may be affected by payment verification, shipping method chosen and any additional items in your shopping cart. You can click on the Shipping tab on the product detail page to preview estimated delivery dates by shipping method for that item. To see estimated delivery date for your entire Cart you must enter your shipping address and continue in the Order process. Orders containing items not in stock may not have an expected to ship date, or may have the furthest expected ship date of the items in the order.
You may see the following availability designations on products:
- - please see product detail page to see the date the item is expected to ship
- - available online & phone only; not stocked in our retail stores
- - available in store & phone only; not available for online purchase
- - not currently in store; but the item is on order from the manufacturer and we expect to receive it shortly. Ordering these items will automatically prioritize your order. If there is an 'Expected to Ship' date listed on the product page, we either have a firm delivery date from the manufacturer, or the item is in stock at one of our nearby distributors. If there is not an 'Expected to Ship' date listed that means we have not been given a firm delivery date from the manufacturer and therefore do not want to make false promises to our customers. If you wish to wait to place your order until we have a firm expected date, then please feel free to use the 'Notify Me' option, or to click 'Similar' to see similar items that are currently in stock.

Our shipping warehouse is closed on weekends. If there is a delay or backorder, every effort will be made to contact you by email, phone or mail.
Limited Availability Music And Movie Titles
Music and Movie titles, (CDs, DVDs, etc.), that show Availability of "Out of Stock" or "Expected to Ship (a date 1 week ahead)" may take longer to obtain. If any of these items are not in stock, we will keep trying to obtain them for a period of up to 7 days, and will hold all of the titles on the order while we try to locate the "Limited Availability" items. Any items which cannot be obtained in 7 days will be cancelled and available items will be shipped. If you wish, you may place all "Limited Availability" items such as this on a separate order to speed the shipment of more easily obtainable titles.
If you are paying with a credit card that has a Billing Address outside the U.S., U.S. Territories, Puerto Rico, Canada, or APO/FPO - put your street address and City in the regular boxes, select "International" for your Billing State, enter five zeros for the Zip Code box (00000) and enter ten zeros for the Phone Number box (000 000 0000). Next, enter the correct country, actual billing phone number, and any other necessary information in the "International Billing" box of the Checkout Process.
Please note - on the Review page and if you go back to edit your billing information, your Billing State will appear as "AE - Armed Forces Europe" under the Billing Address section. At this time, we ship to the U.S., U.S. Territories, Puerto Rico, Canada, and APO/FPO only.
We hope to ship internationally in 2013, but for now, we only ship within the United States, Canada, U.S. Military APO and FPO addresses.
Return / Exchange Policy
Products are warranted solely by the manufacturer.
The complete warranty is included with the product and is subject to the conditions set forth by the manufacturer.
J&R offers an exclusive 30-day exchange/refund policy on mail order & web purchases, and a 14 day exchange/refund policy on retail store purchases (store receipt required).
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for exchange or refund within 30 days, subject to a Return Authorization (RA) from J&R (see conditions below).
- Defective computer software and opened pre-recorded DVDs and CDs may be exchanged for same title only.
- For health reasons, costumes, in-ear headphones and some personal care items that have been opened may only be exchanged if defective and for the same item.
- Any locking passwords on electronic items must be removed prior to return.
- TV's 37" and over have in home diagnostics and servicing during the warranty period specified by the manufacturer.
- Motherboards with bent, missing pins or any physical damage are not acceptable for return.
- Sonnos and Suunto products require calling the manufacturer prior to requesting a return with J&R.
- The serial number on any returned item must match the number printed on the manufacturers box and the number we shipped to you.
- Shipping and handling charges on non-defective returns are not refundable.
Cell phones will only be accepted for exchange, and only if there's a manufacturing defect; no returns accepted on phones that have been damaged or wet after delivery. Do not bring them to our retail stores. For returns on cell phones, you must first contact the support phone number included in the box with your phone. In the very rare event that your cell phone is damaged when you receive it, the damage must be reported within 72 hours of receipt. Any returned cell phone must include the original box with matching identification IMEI and Serial numbers.
Web and mail order purchases require an RA number. For an RA, call Customer Service at (800) 426-6027. Please note that an RA number does not guarantee final disposition and all returns are subject to inspection. All returns of non-defective products may be subject to a restocking fee, depending upon condition. All merchandise being returned for exchange or credit must be in original factory carton, including all packaging materials, inserts and manuals, warranty cards (not filled-out) and all accessories. Please do not tape or write anything on the item or the original manufacturer's carton. In some cases, we may charge you for the replacement of damaged, altered, missing, written-on or taped-on contents or cartons. We reserve the right to refuse any such items.
- All returns must be packed in an outer shipping carton with valid RA # written on the outside of the shipping carton.
- A copy of your original invoice must be included in your return package.
- Please note: our Returns Receiving Department will refuse any package that does not have a valid RA#. There are no exceptions.
- Please ship your parcel back to us Freight Prepaid. We suggest that you use UPS Ground Service "Insured". Sorry, we cannot accept COD or freight-collect shipments.

Cancel Or Change An Order
If you need to cancel or make a change to your order, please call us immediately at 1-800-426-6027. Emailing is not effective for this purpose, as your order may ship before we can respond to your email.
If we cancel an order you placed with us, we offer you the opportunity to receive a substitute or alternative item by calling our Toll Free Sales department at 1-800-806-1115 and speaking with one of our sales representatives referencing your cancelled order number. As an accommodation for your understanding and loyalty to J&R, we will ship you your new selection for FREE. This offer is limited to Ground Service only and excludes freight items and movies or music titles. If your cancelled item is a freight item, please still call us and we will work out an acceptable accommodation.
If your product was a Music or Movie title, please be aware it is our policy to cancel that portion of the order that we cannot obtain in a short period of time. If we do not have a music or movie title in our vast inventory, we order it from a distributor. If our distributor is out of stock, we then order it from a back-up distributor. If all sources are out of stock, it is our experience that the title is currently unavailable. We cancel that title as a convenience to you so that you are free to look elsewhere for it.
The quality manufacturers we are partnered with have product specialists who hold regular training sessions with our sales staff, assuring a high level of product knowledge. We have to satisfy their standards in order to become an authorized dealer. We are also a member of the Better Business Bureau On-line, and the BizRate retailer rating system. Our high level of service continues after you have made your sale. Our knowledgeable Customer Service representatives can assist you with the delivery, exchange or return of your purchase.
Before you purchase from an unauthorized dealer, you should consider the following. Some unauthorized dealers sell products with the serial numbers altered, or entirely removed so that the manufacturers cannot track how they obtained these units. This voids the warranty. Some unauthorized dealers sell "grey goods" or "parallel import" versions of the products. These are similar versions that were not intended for distribution in the U.S.A. In some instances, the manufacturers will not honor the warranty or rebate offers on products that are not imported or sold through their approved sales networks. Some of these products can have different voltages, different accessories, or instruction manuals that are not in English. Even when the merchandise is the legitimate U.S.A. version, some unauthorized dealers will take accessories (such as a camcorder battery or AC adapter) out of the sealed carton, and sell them to you separately at an additional cost. Some dealers will sell refurbished products without informing you of this.
In an industry where websites and companies come and go, J&R has been serving the public for over 40 years. We will be here after you have made your purchase, while many others will be a memory. When you buy from us, you do so with peace of mind.
J&R only collects sales tax on orders being shipped to an address within New York State. Sales tax is calculated to be the same as your local New York sales tax. There is no tax collected for orders shipped outside of New York State.
Shipping is via UPS Worldwide. Shipping charges include brokerage fees, but do not include any import duties, Goods and Services Tax (GST), or Provincial Sales Tax (PST). A further explanation of taxes can be found here. If you have any questions about these fees, consult your local government import office.
We at J&R take your privacy as seriously as you do. To help ensure your privacy, we use the most up-to-date encryption technology to keep your personal information as secure as possible. This includes your billing, credit card, and account information; none of this can be read as it travels to our system. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise share your personal information, such as name, email address, physical address, phone numbers, buying history, etc. without your permission, or except as otherwise provided in this Policy. You do not have to worry about receiving unsolicited email from other companies or individuals as a result of shopping, entering a contest or an auction at JR.com. If you would like to receive email regarding J&R Specials, leave the appropriate box checked during the Registration process, or fill in the sign-up form. Every email newsletter comes with a link to unsubscribe. We do, on occasion, send out an email announcement to inform our customers when we add a major new feature to our website; once again, those email addresses are not shared with anyone else. If you wish us to retain personal information (to make repeat shopping easier), you need to complete our registration process, which includes setting up a unique email address and password. To modify your personal information, you will need to click on "My Account", and enter your email address and password. We require the Secure Sockets Layer ( SSL ) protocol and Session Cookies to be enabled on your browser in order to take advantage of many special features, such as registration and ordering, or you will not be able to place an order online. Session cookies allow us to hold items in your unique shopping cart, and to tell your shopping cart from that of another user.
In order to assure that these services work, you may need to set-up your web browser. Here are some simple instructions;
If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer, you can check and change the status of your SSL setting by clicking on Tools at the top of the browser, select Internet Options, click on the Advanced tab, scroll down to Security and make sure SSL is checked. You can check and change the cookies setting by clicking on Tools at the top of the browser, select Internet Options, click on the Security tab and then Custom Level, scroll down to Cookies and make sure it is enabled.
If you use Netscape, you can check and change the status of your SSL setting by clicking on Security at the top of the browser, select Navigator on the left column, and make sure SSL 2.0 is checked under Advanced Security (SSL) Configuration. You can check and change the cookies setting by clicking on Edit at the top of the browser, select Preferences, click Advanced and make sure "Accept all cookies" is set. You can also use the procedure described above to block or restrict third-party cookies. However, if you do so, you will not be able to take advantage of many of the special features on our website.
At jr.com your order process is secured with the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. SSL provides you with the freedom to shop online without the fear of your credit card information being stolen. This encryption compares to a combination lock that has several trillions of combinations. There are three ways that indicate whether you're on a secure web page:
- All URL's (web addresses) that require and use an SSL connection start with https: instead of http:
- The key or padlock on your browser screen will become solid.
- Security Alert messages may popup while moving between regular and secure pages.
On our Website, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Bill Me Later®, Google Checkout, PayPal, "Checkout with Amazon" and the J&R Gift Card. If the amount of the purchase is greater than the balance on the Gift Card, you must pay the difference with a credit card. Only one gift card can be used per purchase on our website. If you wish to order using more than one gift card, please phone in your order to our Mail Order department at 1-800-806-1115. PayPal orders must have a PayPal confirmed shipping address. Our Mail Order Department also accepts personal checks and business checks. Our Retail Stores also accept cash and traveler's checks and J&R Gift Cards.

If you would like to order from J&R and pay by Check or Money Order, Click Here to print out an order form, and follow these instructions:
Use the website to pick out the products you want. Enter the Quantity, Item Number and price for each item. To find the Ground shipping costs, you will need to add all items to your shopping cart, put in your ZIP Code, and click "Calculate Total". In the cart, the actual shipping rates for Ground shipping will be displayed. Follow the directions on the Ordering Form; the instructions for paying by check are the same as for paying by Money Order. The address to mail in the form and your payment are on the form.

When we collect funds for your order:
- Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover card, Google Checkout - We collect funds from your account when we ship your order, for the portion that shipped.
- Debit Cards - Banking regulations require that your bank withdraw the money from your account (for the full value of your order) at the time your bank approves the order. Your bank holds this money; we only collect funds from your bank when your order ships, for the portion that shipped.
- J&R Gift Cards - Your gift card is redeemed prior to shipping your order.
- Bill Me Later - You will not receive a bill from Bill Me Later until we ship your order.
- PayPal - Orders are charged when you place your order.
- Orders placed with J&R on Amazon.com or placed on JR.com using "Checkout with Amazon" - We collect funds from you through Amazon for the full order value when we first ship any portion of your order.
- Orders placed with J&R on Buy.com - We collect funds from you through Buy.com when your order ships, for the portion that shipped.
- In-store Pickups - Your card is charged at the pick-up register when you pick up your order.
- Checks - Orders are shipped after we verify that the check has cleared your bank.
Refunds for cancelled orders
- Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover card, Google Checkout - No funds were collected for unshipped items.
- Debit card orders - Banks will return the funds to your account for any unshipped items after a few days. The amount of days it takes for this varies by bank.
- J&R Gift Cards - A new gift card will be issued to you, or you can choose to keep the gift card on file electronically by calling our customer service department (800-426-6027). Gift cards kept purely on file electronically can only be used when placing a phone order.
- Bill Me Later - When an order is cancelled prior to shipment, Bill Me Later will not bill you.
- PayPal - When you cancel an order, a refund is issued to PayPal who then refunds you.
- In-store Pickups - No funds were collected from your card if you did not pick up your order.
- Checks - Once we have verified that the check has cleared your bank, we will issue you a check for the unshipped portion of your order.
Refunds on Returned Merchandise
After our Returns Department processes and approves your returned items, requested refunds are processed as follows:
- Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover card, Google Checkout, Bill Me Later - A refund is sent to your payment issuer. Individual banks and institutions vary as to how long they take to credit your account or reflect the refund on your statement.
- J&R Gift Cards - A new gift card will be issued to you, or you can choose to keep the gift card on file electronically by calling our customer service department (800-426-6027). Gift cards kept purely on file electronically can only be used when placing a phone order.
- Orders placed with J&R on Amazon.com or placed on JR.com using "Checkout with Amazon" - A refund is issued to Amazon, who then refunds your payment method source. Individual banks and institutions vary as to how long they take to credit your account or reflect the refund on your statement.
- Orders placed with J&R on Buy.com - A refund is issued to Buy.com, who then refunds your payment method source. Individual banks and institutions vary as to how long they take to credit your account or reflect the refund on your statement.
- Checks - Once we have verified that the check has cleared your bank, we will issue you a check for the unshipped portion of your order.
Rebates and Coupons
Because we are an Authorized Dealer for the products we carry, the rebate coupons will be honored by the manufacturer that issues them. Rebates can be classified as Simple and Complex. A Simple rebate would be "buy item A and get $xx amount mailed back to you if you complete and mail in our coupon". In these cases, we try to display the math, to show you the price before, the rebate amount, and the price after the rebate. A Complex rebate can be "buy items A, B and C and receive $xx back from the manufacturer" or "buy item A and receive item B when you fill in the rebate coupon", etc. Rebate coupons can either be included on the package of the item, or it can require a separate coupon. When the coupon is separate, we include a link to download and print-out the rebate coupon, on the product information page of the product with the rebate. This form is in PDF format, and we also include a link to download Adobe Acrobat (needed to display and print the rebate) if you do not already have this program.
Rebates are issued by the manufacturer, NOT by J&R. If a manufacturer is offering you a sum of money or a product when you purchase another item, they are the ones sending it to you. You must follow the instructions completely that you find on the Rebate Form, and mail it to the address they specify, with whatever proof of purchase they ask for.
We are usually the first to receive new items when they are released by the manufacturers. We will put the information about a product on our website as soon as we receive it. When you order an item that has not been released yet, the order button will say "Pre-Order". Pre-orders will be filled in the order in which they are received once we receive the merchandise. If the item is very popular, our first shipment may be entirely devoted to pre-orders, so it pays to take advantage of pre-ordering.
Items do sell out. If an item is still current, it will display "Temporarily out of stock" next to the product image on the full product description page. If an item is discontinued and becomes sold out, it will disappear from our website. On very rare occasions, even when an item is in stock at the time on order is placed, it might become back-ordered due to too many people placing orders at one time. If this is the case, and you have placed an order, you will receive an automatic email alerting you that this item is Back-Ordered. We place immediate orders with the manufacturer to replenish any item that goes out of stock, and we usually receive them very quickly. Please be assured that we do our best to obtain these for you as quickly as possible.
When an item is temporarily out of stock, you will see the words "Notify me when available". Clicking this will pop up a place to enter your email address. If you do so, you will receive an automatic email when the items comes back into stock. This is not used for any other purpose; you will not receive any other email as a result of submitting this request. Receiving this stock notification email does not hold a piece for you; please be aware that this item may sell out again before you return to our site. There is no obligation to purchase.

What is a Clearance Item?
Clearances are products that have been deeply discounted for quick sale, by manufacturers. Many of these products are new but have been discontinued or are being replaced by another model. Some may have been originally developed for sale to a major retail chain but, due to certain circumstances, need to be moved through another authorized dealer and are offered by the manufacturer as a Special Purchase. Some have been refurbished or reconditioned by the manufacturer or an independent agent. In most cases, these products are sold with full manufacturer's warranties.
Why would I want to buy a discontinued product?
While new technologies are introduced to new products, every year, many change cosmetically but are similar to a model from the previous year. In some cases, you may not need or want the new technology. Here's an example:
Suppose you're interested in buying a new home-theater receiver. Last year's technology was surround sound that required the use of 6 speakers. This year's technology has a surround sound mode that requires 8 speakers. Otherwise, the power rating and specifications are similar. This year's receiver sells for $500. Last year's receiver was $500 but, as a clearance, is now being sold for $200. If you feel comfortable with 6 speakers instead of 8, the discontinued clearance model is a fantastic deal.
What is Factory Refurbished?
Factory Refurbished items are products that have been returned to the manufacturers. These products are inspected and sent through a thorough quality controlled factory servicing process to make them just as good as new. However, they cannot be sold as "new" items so they are offered for sale at deep discounts. It's an excellent way to get quality products at a great price. As authorized dealers, we offer limited quantities of factory-refurbished products. When we choose to do so, we always inspect and sell the best quality Factory Refurbished merchandise. Whenever we do so, our product descriptions are clearly marked to indicate that the product was refurbished. Many of these products come with full manufacturer's warranties. In rare cases, an independent agent may refurbish some products, under licensing from the manufacturer. These may have more limited warranties.
Open Box Policy
Select items listed on JR.com are classified as Open Box products. The scratches, dents or physical blemishes on Open Box products do not affect their performance; they will perform just like a brand new unit. In some cases, it is simply the box that is damaged. In other cases, there are one or more scratches on the unit. In still other cases, the unit had a glitch in one of it's functions, and has been repaired or refurbished by an authorized service center. These units should have all critical accessories (those essential for the operation of the unit).
Products in our Open Box section can result from any of the following:
- Manufacturer box has damage, but the unit within is not damaged.
- Product was returned to us in good working order.
- Product was returned to us without a box, or with writing on the box or instruction manual or other paperwork.
- Product was dented or scratched in shipping.
- Product was repaired and restored to original specifications by a factory authorized service center.
Please note: We have no way of tracing which of the reasons above has resulted in any particular unit being sold in our Open Box section, nor the degree of physical blemish any individual unit has. Many items are not displayed at our stores.
If you are not satisfied with your Open Box purchase, you can return your item to us within 30 days and will receive a full refund of your purchase price.
Quantities on Open Box items are very limited. All orders are processed on a first come, first served basis. Since the "availability" status on our website does not update in real-time, it is possible we may receive several orders in a row before the product status can be changed to "Sold Out". If your order is received after all the stock has been reserved, your order will be cancelled and you will be notified by email.
Through our strategic relationships, authorized dealerships, the expertise of our buyers, and exceptional promotions, J&R offers excellent prices and outstanding values. In some cases, we must employ alternative methods to make sure you get our lowest price. This is because some of our store and Mail Order prices are below what authorized dealers are encouraged to advertise. You will usually be able to tell items using these methods, indicated by text on the red product buttons, as follows:
Add to Cart for Lower Price, Add to Cart to See Price, Email Price, Get Info
In many cases, we can display our lower price only if a customer "asks" for it, since this constitutes a private conversation. That is why you will see the message "Add to Cart for Lower Price" or "Add to Cart to See Price". In this way, you can add the item to your shopping cart and see the actual, low selling price.
On products where the manufacturer does not allow this, you may see "Email Price". In this case, we can send you an automatic email with our lower price, and a link back to that product with the lower price showing. We know that it is a minor inconvenience, but the alternative is to put a higher price.
There are some cases where there is a lower price when you add the product to your cart, but there is no indication of this on the product page. This too is due to manufacturer restrictions.
If it is not permitted to show a lower price in our shopping cart, or to send you an email with the lower price, than we will suggest that you call us at 1-800-806-1115 for the absolute latest pricing.
In a few cases, we are asked not to sell certain items on our website at this time, even though we sell them in our stores and our Mail Order Department. In these cases, we chose to put the items on our website to let shoppers know that we carry them, and to let you view the features and specifications. These items may have a "Get Info" button, and will have a message to call or visit our retail store if you wish to make a purchase.
Seen it at another authorized dealer for the same price or less? If we require you to add to cart / email / call to get the low price on this product, and the other dealer does not, please email us all relevant info. If we confirm your findings we will mail you a $10 gift card towards your next purchase. Limit 1 gift card per customer or household. Please allow 2 business days to hear back from us.
There are some products we are not allowed to show on our website at all, even though we carry them. If there is a product that you are interested in that is not showing on our website, please call 1-800-806-1115 to check on availability.
While we make every effort to ensure the product information and pricing on JR.com is accurate and current, there may be instances where inaccurate or incomplete data is displayed. In the event item data is incorrect, such as listed with an incorrect price, availability, or with incorrect information, JR.com shall have the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that item. In the event an item is mispriced, JR.com, at our discretion, will do one of the following:
If an item is priced lower than the displayed price, you will be charged the lower amount and we will ship the item.
If an item is priced higher than the stated amount, we will either contact you for instructions or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation. If we cancel your order after your payment has been processed, we will issue you a full refund.

If you have found a better price for this item at another authorized dealer, we will do everything possible to meet or beat that price at the time of purchase. Price matching is only applicable to identical conditions of sale, and excludes CDs and DVDs. Placing An Order
To place an order on our website, you will first need to click on the "Add to Cart" buttons for the products you want. If you want to order any of the accessory products that often appear on the "Accessories" tab below the product, you can simply click the checkboxes of the ones you want, and then click "Add Selected to Cart". Each time you click "Add to Cart", you will be taken to the Shopping Cart section of our site. To return to shopping, simply click "<< Continue Shopping" link, or use your browser's "Back" button.
You can remove a product by clicking the "Remove" button or by changing the quantity to zero and clicking the "Update Cart" button. You can change a quantity by clicking the "Quantity" box, typing in the amount you want, and clicking the "Update Cart" button.
When you are ready to make your purchase, click on the "Proceed To Secure Checkout" button on the Shopping Cart page. If you are a Registered User, and not yet logged in, you will be given the option after clicking "Proceed To Secure Checkout". Once you log in, you will have your default Billing and Shipping Address information pre-populated during the checkout process. You will be able to select the shipping method during the checkout process.
The JR.com checkout process is secure and simple and consists of only three steps: Billing and Shipping Address, Payment and Shipping Options, Review and Complete
During all steps, required fields are marked with a red asterisk (*). You will not be able to continue through the process if any required fields are left blank. Additionally, certain fields are validated to ensure the information was entered correctly, ensuring your order can be processed quickly once it is submitted. You will be prompted to fix any information that was not entered correctly. At any time during the checkout process, if you have questions or need assistance, you can call for assistance. Under the "Other Information" section, you may enter International billing address information or the salesperson number if you received assistance from one of our trained telephone salespeople.
If your order is a gift, you may also select the appropriate gift options on this page. You can include a personalized gift message of up to 60 characters, choose to send the recipient a gift notification email, and choose whether to display prices on the recipient's invoice.
Once you have entered your billing and shipping address information, select the "Continue" button to move on to the Payment and Shipping Method page. On this page, you will enter the information for the payment method you want to use. JR.com accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Bill Me Later® and the J&R Gift Card. If you choose to pay by Gift Card, you will have the ability to add another payment method if your order amount exceeds your gift card balance. Please note you can only apply one gift card per order. If you wish to pay by check, please call our Mail Order Department at 1-800-806-1115. Additionally, available shipping methods and associated ship charges will be displayed on this page. Only shipping methods applicable to your order will be displayed. Once you select a shipping method, you will see the total amount of your order, including any applicable sales tax.
On the next page, you will have the opportunity to review the information you have entered. If you need to make changes, press the "Change" link, and you will return to the applicable page within the checkout process where you can change your information. Please note: Your order is not complete until you click the Complete Order button.
After placing your order, you will be presented with an order confirmation page you can print for your records (there is a place to click for a "printer friendly" version), along with an opportunity for "quick registration". If you would like to create an account on JR.com, making future purchases quicker and easier, you can fill in this section. Once you create an account, we will store your billing and shipping addresses and will pre-populate this information the next time you check out at JR.com.
You will receive an automatic email with the details of your order. You will receive another email when your order ships, with tracking information where available.
When you click on an "Add To Cart" button, it places that item in your shopping cart. It will remain there for approximately 30 days until you either purchase it or delete it. If you are a Registered User, and have logged-in prior to placing an item in your shopping cart, it will remain there until you purchase or delete it. There are products that we have priced so low, the manufacturers do not like us to display our price on the product description page. Because of this, we often ask you to click the "Add To Cart" button in order to see our actual low price.
