A special steam and grease barrier is sandwiched between layers of insultation for added protection. A flexible, non permeable nylon barrier coated with Teflon fabric protector resists heat, stains and spills preventing penetration of steam, water and grease. A glove without this barrier becomes damp and heat will immediately pass through and with grease, this will happen everytime the glove is used before it is washed.
