Naturally, the TXNR807 also handles all of your High-Definition audio and Video sources—courtesy of six HDMI 1.3a inputs—and upscales any video input to 1080p via Faroudja DCDi Cinema. This powerful THX® Select2 Plus Certified Receiver also comes with Audyssey DSX and Dolby Pro Logic IIz, two new surround-sound formats that expand the spatial dimensionality of games and movies. A proprietary Universal Port located on the rear side of the TX-NR807 lets you connect an Optional UP-A1 Dock for the iPod or UP-HT1 HD Radio Tuner. If you have both peripheral devices, they can easily be “daisy chained" via an input on the UP-HT1. A key advantage of the Universal Port is that it accepts video and audio signals through the same cable that sends a power supply from the receiver to the devices
