Panasonic SC-HC3 Mini Stereo Audio System with iPod Dock

The Panasonic SC-HC3 is an iPod Docking station with a built-in AM/FM radio Tuner and CD Player. Or you can say it's a mini Audio system with AM/FM radio, CD Player, and a built-in iPod dock. Place your fourth generation or later iPod in the dock and it'll play your Music through the speakers, each of which measures at 2.6-inches. Together they deliver 40 Watts power Output for robust, clear, and definitive sound. While the main purpose of the SC-HC3 is as an iPod dock, it also features audio in and out jacks, including a 3.5mm jack. One of the unique designs from the audio system is the "hide and reveal" of the iPod dock. The front aluminum panel slides to the right and reveals a universal iPod dock. Once the iPod is in place, press the close button for the panel to slide back. The iPod hides behind the tinned glass but still visible to the user. Besides the iPod dock is the CD section corresponding with music CDs, CD-R and CD-RW. When it's connected to an iPod, though, the SC-HC3 displays artist and track information on its display.
Another unique feature is Panasonic's proprietary, full-range Bamboo Cone Speakers. A rigid, low-density bamboo material used in the speaker helps achieve a clean responsive sound, with crisp, clear vocals. A Dual Passive Radiator design cancels unwanted vibration, helping deliver a pure Bass sound with minimal noise. The diaphragm of the passive radiator is weighted to achieve linear vibration, making it possible for these slim, thin speaker units to produce a robust, full-bodied bass.
