The blind swordsman Masseur Ichi (Shintaro Katsu) becomes the target of a local gang when he proves his fighting skill. Ichi, already burdened with a price upon his head, is then saddened to learn that a long lost love, Tane, is now living with a master samurai from this vicious gang. When Tane is slain in a ruthless, defiant act of violence, Ichi seeks revenge on the entire gang, particularly their sadistic leader. This fourth episode in the highly popular Japanese ZATOICHI series is full of melodrama and violent rage.
