Dancing for Kids

This DVD compiles three previously released programs featuring dance lessons for children: BABY BALLET, TOT TAP and JUNIOR JAZZ. BABY BALLET: This introductory instructional video is designed to teach young children, particularly from the ages of 4 to 6, the basics of ballet dancing. Topics covered are the very same that a formal ballet course would go over--including stretches, barre warm ups, floor combinations, and center practice. Seasoned dance teacher Rosemary Boross is clear, engaging, and easy-to-follow. TOT TAP: Acclaimed children's dance teacher Rosemary Boross leads this introductory tap dance video for children. Especially designed for toddlers from the ages of 4 to 6, TOT TAP covers all the bases--toe taps, shuffles, heel taps, cramp rolls, and others. JUNIOR JAZZ: Designed specifically for children from the ages of 4 through 6, JUNIOR JAZZ is an introductory video lesson of jazz dancing. Led by experienced dance teacher Rosemary Boross, the video is easy-to-follow and engaging. Using high-energy percussion music, Boross and her students go through 4 dances, each of which is performed in a different style of jazz.
