Captain John Orr (Ray Liotta) is a gifted firefighter whose abilities to sniff out the origin of a blaze is a constant source of amazement to his firemen brethren. His incredible ability has earned him the job of prime investigator in a series of fires set by a serial arsonist. As Orr teaches new recruits and looks for clues, he becomes a prime suspect when the origins of his own interest in fire is revealed. This HBO feature was based on actual events. Directed by cinematographer Newton Thomas Sigel (X-MEN, THREE KINGS).
