In 1983, British television producer Gerry Anderson (THUNDERBIRDS, SECRET SERVICE) updated his popular sci-fi animation formula with a new technique called "Supermacromation," which utilized stringless puppets. The result was a campy, space-aged television series called TERRAHAWKS, whose over-the-top storylines and ambitious special effects--including futuristic vehicles and a secret coded language--destined to make it a cult classic. Set in the year 2020, TERRAHAWKS centers around a squadron of specially-trained space fighters who defend the Earth against attack from the evil, witchlike Zelda and her minions of android aliens. This 5-volume collection includes all 39 episodes of the rarely-seen series, presented uncut and in their original broadcast order.
