With a crack of her gold whip and a shimmy into her snug superhero suit, Lynda Carter perfectly embodied the tough, sassy spirit of WONDER WOMAN in this televisual adaptation. The male-dominated genre got a feminist jolt when Wonder Woman first appeared on screens in 1976, with Carter taking on all manner of evildoers in her attempts to ensure that justice prevails. By day she is a Peter Parker-style worker; clad in glasses and unassuming business clothes, Wonder Woman wiles away the hours performing interminable tasks for the U.S. Military. But when crimes come calling, a quick twirl sees Wonder Woman doing battle with the miscreants attempting to topple the scales of justice in their favor. This release contains the second season of the show in its entirety.
