A low-budget endeavor, HAZLO POR MI succeeds on every count, with finely-drawn characters and gripping, well-paced action. FLORES DE OTRO MUNDO: Three couples deal with the challenges of family, culture, love, and the enduring hope for a better life in this touching Spanish drama. When three single, middle-aged farmers in a tiny village host a singles' party in order to find wives, the women who attend are mostly immigrants looking for a marriage that will improve their lot. They pair off, with Patricia facing a monstrous mother-in-law, Milady aching to escape the small town and see the world, and Marirosi carrying out a long-distance relationship.
