SEASON ONE: Already a megastar in his native England, multi-talented comedian Sacha Baron Cohen successfully makes the transition to American shores with DA ALI G SHOW. Cohen's most prominent character is Ali G, a yellow sweatsuit-wearing gangsta who performs some of the most outlandish interviews television has ever seen (at one point, he calls astronaut Buzz Aldrin "mah man Buzz Lightyear"). Other characters are the ridiculously naive Kazakhstani journalist Borat and Austrian fashion freak Bruno. Over the course of six episodes, Cohen and his alter egos traverse the American landscape in search of new and exciting adventures. The result is television at its most hilarious and brilliant. Boyashaka! SEASON TWO: Ali G (Sacha Baron Cohen) dons his yellow sweatsuit once again, heads to American shores from his native U.K., and befuddles and amuses a variety of people in the Second Season of DA ALI G SHOW. Following his "keeping it real" mantra, Ali talks to Sam Donaldson of ABC news about Richard Nixon's "Waterworld" crisis, ponders Iraq's "BLTs" with ultraconservative Pat Buchanan, and wonders why the Olympics don't have a competition for the world's longest moustache. Meanwhile, Baron Cohen's other characters, Kazakhstanian TV presenter Borat and gay Austrian fashion guru Bruno, create similar havoc and confusion across America. A wickedly funny slice of TV from HBO, DA ALI G SHOW makes perfect viewing for viewers who love to watch people squirm and wriggle as they are confronted with some of the most bizarre characters they're ever likely to see.

"This is comedy of interaction; the funny depends on making others -- including us -- squirm." -- Grade: B+ -- Missy Schwartz , (Entertainment Weekly)

"[Ali G] got face time with people like Newt Gingrich, Pat Buchanan and Donald Trump on his cult HBO show." -- Peter Travers , (Rolling Stone)
