ERNEST GOES TO JAIL: Only Ernest P. Worrell could show up for jury duty and wind up serving time in the slammer. When a crooked lawyer spots him and realizes that he is a dead ringer for his crime-boss client, the switch is on before you can say "here comes the judge." SLAM DUNK ERNEST: Goofball Ernest P. Worrell is having a hard time making the grade in a high-caliber, amateur basketball league. He is rescued from his slump by the Basketball Angel (played by NBA great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar). Angel gives Ernest a pair of super-duper magic sneakers and he gives an All-Star performance in a game against the Charlotte Hornets.
