This live-action Japanese television series, first aired in 1973, tells the story of Shogun executioner Ogami Itto as he sets on an assassin's journey armed with his Dotanuki battle sword. After being shamed and slandered by the Yagyu clan, Itto and his three-year-old son Daigoro, known collectively as "Lone Wolf and Club," decide to seek vengeance.
