After only one week in the theaters in 1972, FTA ("Free" the Army, for the clean-minded) disappeared, but the zany Vietnam satire was not quickly forgotten. The rowdy documentary, hosted by Jane Fonda and Donald Sutherland, offers a lighthearted look at the anti-war movement, all the while serving as a reminder of the conflicts darkest details. Together with musicians and fellow actors, Fonda and Sutherland present songs and political sketches based on testimony from soldiers stationed in the Pacific Rim.
