This sixth collection of Three Stooges shorts includes all of the boys best adventures from 1949-51, a favored time period in which Shemp continues to assuredly fill Curlys large shoes after replacing the ill comedian just two years previous. The halfway mark of the 20th century brought with it some of the most beloved Stooges buffoonery, including the brilliant single-set improvisational piece DONT THROW THAT KNIFE, the bandit antics of MERRY MAVERICKS (an outstanding redo of 1943s PHONY EXPRESS), the quadruple-duty extravaganza SELF MADE MAIDS (in which the Stooges each play several members of an entire family), and much more.
