Performer: Original Soundtrack
Distributor: Sony Music Distribution ( Notes: Composer: Andres Levin. Seeing how the film Feel the Noise is the story of a rapper, played by Omarion, finding "salvation in reggaeton," the soundtrack is mostly outgoing reggaeton with just a touch of rap and an even smaller touch of R&B. Any worthwhile genre-blending is to be found on the first two cuts with Omarion himself in charge of the slick dancefloor seduction of "Cut Off Time" while Pras brings his swagger to the polished reggaeton of "Pa la Calle." Wyclef Jean's contribution is forgettable, and the rest of the highlights are pure reggaeton, with Voltio delivering the skeletal and infectious "Chulin, Culin, Chunfly" while the mighty Tego Caldern joins Nejo for "No Quiere Novio." Feel the Noise's biggest problem is its skimpy 37-minute run time, which doesn't make much sense, since the film's story is based around music. A fair souvenir of the film and not much more. ~ David Jeffries
