Notes: Editor: Paul Shields. VP Records has released several collections of dancehall slanted lovers rock in its Sweet Love series, and this one, although it is labeled Best of Sweet Love, is essentially no different. It's pleasant enough without being particularly memorable. Highlights include Pam Hall's smooth and bubbly "You've Caught Me Baby," Jimmy London's expansive "Can't Get Used to Losing You," and Jimmy Riley's intriguing "Private Number," which suggests the easiest way to end an affair and avoid any subsequent dialogue about it is to simply change one's phone number. ~ Steve Leggett
