Performer: moe.
Engineer: John Siket; Brian Thorn; Adam Cass Libbers; Stephanie Dufresne
Producer: moe.; John Siket
Distributor: E1 Distribution (USA)

Notes: moe.: Al Schnier (vocals, guitar, mandolin, accordion, keyboards); Chuck Garvey (vocals, guitar); Jim Loughlin (vocals, vibraphone, marimba, percussion); Rob Derhak (vocals, bass guitar); Vinnie Amico (vocals, drums, percussion). Additional personnel: Allie Kral (strings); Nadine LaFond, Umphrey's McGee (background vocals). Jam band Moe took a decidedly different approach on their ninth studio album by composing the entire set before debuting the material live. Although the old juicy rapport is in full force, the more painstaking craft is evident in tracks like the bouncy and soulful "All Roads Lead to Home," the Stones-y groove attack of "Deep this Time," and the gritty "Queen of Everything."
Rolling Stone (p.62) - 3.5 stars out of 5 -- "[A] concise, punchy good time, emphasizing the songcraft inside Moe's improvising mettle and the double-guitar pow of Al Schnier and Chuck Garvey..." Paste (magazine) (p.79) - "STICKS is a warm, skilled album that never resorts to gimmickry, placing solos only where necessary while gesturing at different plot points as the songs are continually reinvented live."
