Greensleeves' long-running RAGGA RAGGA RAGGA series has made consistent work of bringing the bawdy sounds of dancehall reggae to ardent fans and neophytes alike. Not surprisingly, the 2008 installment of the series compiles the biggest tunes of the year. Subtitled "Raw, X-Rated Dancehall," the collection makes good on the tag, focusing on the rough, rugged and raw sounds of artists like Elephant Man, Vybz Cartel and Charly Blacks.
