Notes: After a slight misstep with CURTIS, 50 Cent returns to studio album form alongside his fellow Guerrilla Unit cronies on T.O.S.: TERMINATE ON SIGHT. Far from being a G-Unit Records artist showcase, T.O.S.: TERMINATE ON SIGHT is a tight-knit effort with 50 dominating the mic and spitting nearly every hook. Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks, and Young Buck are on hand but rarely take up the spotlight for long, while the production (courtesy of Jake One, Don Cannon, Ky Miller, Rick Rock, and Ron Browz, among others) stays largely on the gutter side. The Swizz Beatz-produced banger "Get Down" is the closest that T.O.S. gets to the dancefloor. Dancehall crooner Mavado stops by to provide the chorus on "Let It Go."
XXL (Magazine) (p.128) - "[T]he Southside trio focuses on making undeniably hardcore hip-hop with mass appeal....The album is a welcome return to the gritty sound that originally catapulted 50 and company from industry outsiders to SoundScan killers."
