Notes: Best known as an artist who has penned hits for many country singers (Brad Paisley, the Dixie Chicks), Nashville-based vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Darrell Scott in turn covers songs written by others on 2008's MODERN HYMNS. Highlights include Scott's rollicking, bluegrass version of Joni Mitchell's "Urge for Going" and his soulful rendition of Kris Kristofferson's "Jesus Was a Capricorn."
