Notes: This enjoyable Christmas-oriented recording (Tito Rojas' first) is a rarity: in the midst of the waning, late-'90s salsa scene (where the romantic trend seem to come to a creative halt) came a refreshing sample of a concept album, a retread that seemed necessary. Rojas' charismatic delivery makes the best of tunes like "Cantemos Todos Cantemos," "Tiempos Navide�os," "Voy a Parrandear," and "El Julepe" (arranged by Louis Garc�a), lending them a cheerful, yet traditional mood. This was sort of an exception to the rule plaguing the salsa movement that states concept albums are not commercially interesting.
