Before releasing his solo debut, YOURS MINE AND THE TRUTH, in the winter of 2008, Sterling Simms spent several years earning his stripes as part of the Atlanta-based Knightwritaz songwriting/production team, penning hits for the likes of Mario and Tyrese, and even lending backup vocals to a track on Jay-Z's KINGDOM COME. The Knightwritaz team assists Simms on the majority of this album, and the slick, irreproachably professional production of songs like "Playa" and "I Know" only adds to Simms's already considerable charms as a singer and performer.
