Notes: The 16th volume in Collectables' series of discs dedicated to the dominant themes and motifs of doo wop's romantic lexicon (angels, moonlight, stars...), this one, themed around the word "night," is certainly pleasant enough, but aside from the first track, the Five Satins' timeless "In the Still of the Nite," and the 10th and final one, the Imaginations' bouncing and lovely "Goodnight Baby," most of these sides never rise above being merely pleasant.
