Bushman is a dedicated roots reggae artist whose smartly produced records, fiercely political lyrics, and flexible relationship with the sounds and lyrical themes of reggae's dancehall culture make him one of the most relevant roots artists of his era. His late '90s debut, NYAH MAN CHANT, almost singlehandedly revived culturally conscious roots reggae, and Bushman has remained a consistently rewarding artist ever since. MOST WANTED collects some of Bushman's best material. Those selections drawn from his debut, like "Cannabis" and "Call The Hearse," may be the most galvanizing but all of the material included here merits repeated listening.
