Notes: The soundtrack for NATIONAL LAMPOON PRESENTS: ENDLESS BUMMER, a 2009 comedy caper about a lost surfboard and the quest to return it to its rightful owner, features 16 covers from the beloved/maligned '80s. For the most part, things are treated "Orange County" style with a nice, quick punk-pop/ska finish, but the results are confounding at best, as the Dollyrots cover Joan Jett & the Blackhearts' "Bad Reputation" while Joan Jett & the Blackhearts cover Missing Persons "Destination Unknown." The Aggrolites provide textbook covers of the Specials' "Ghost Town" and Musical Youth's "Pass the Dutchie," while Fear does a textbook cover of their own "Let's Have a War," and Katy Perry turns the Outfield's "Your Love" (retitled "Use Your Love") into a semi-serviceable "Hot Topic" anthem.
