The collection is also much more indie rock-focused, and some of the artists even composed music specifically for the film. Highlights include the first single, Death Cab For Cutie's "Meet Me On The Equinox," the melancholy feel and lyrical hook of which ("everything ends"), pertains directly to NEW MOON's plot line concerning the end of the main characters' relationship, and Muse's epic "I Belong To You," which incorporates dramatic, gothic-sounding piano and orchestral flourishes which recall the earliest vampire movies.
