B-movies like Sorority Row (a sorority prank goes too far, resulting in the inevitable arrival of a serial killer) deserve B-movie music, a notion that the compilers of the film's soundtrack have taken to heart. Of the 15 tracks, only a few are even remotely memorable (Ladytron's "Ghosts," Camera Obscura's "Tears for Affairs," and Dragonette's "booty" anthem "I Get Around" come to mind), but there's hardly a dull moment. From the pseudo-goth grandstanding of Stefy Rae's "Tear Me Up" to the infantile nihilism of Cash Crop's "Alcoholic," Sorority Row blows by like a parade at 55 miles per hour, which is perfect, as the floats only look good when they're blurry. ~ James Christopher Monger
