Performer: Saxon
Distributor: n/a Notes: Liner Note Author: Jerry Ewing. Photographer: Mike Ford. Saxon's self-titled debut album already hints at their future songwriting potential, but the dismal production makes a mess of early live favorites like "Still Fit to Boogie" and "Judgement Day," which sound muffled and uninspired. Along with Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, Saxon was one of the key bands in the early-1980s scene known as the New Wave of British Heavy Metal.
