Paul Reiser, the star and executive producer of "Mad About You," describes this collection of music from and inspired by the hit TV show as "the arc of a love story--two people finding each other, finding their way, and finding themselves." The songs are interspersed with dialogue from the show that describes the course of this relationship, as does the music itself, which ranges from the slow-dance ballad "At Last," sung by Etta James, to the enormously witty Elvis Costello classic "Sneaky Feelings." Also included are two versions of "The Final Frontier," the show's theme song, with lyrics by Don Was and Reiser, who perform on guitar and piano, respectively. The original is sung by Andrew Gold; the newer, full-length rendition is performed with sultry soulfulness by Anita Baker.
