Hailing from southern Florida, Trick Daddy drops his debut album, WWW.THUG.COM with intensity, street lyrics and underground tracks. Rooted in the deep-south hip-hop sound of artists like Master P and Silkk The Shocker, Trick has a unique voice that matches his funky and effective head-nodding tracks. The sometimes- sparse arrangements leave plenty of space for the wicked vocal delivery that Trick has perfected on tracks such as "So What," "Run Nigga" and "Living In a World." Trick Daddy's album www.thug.com features the rapper at his best. Not only is www.thug.com his album name, it's also his own website. Trick Daddy recruited rappers such as Trina and Righteous Funk Boogie to record tracks with him. "Nann" got decent radio airplay, but some confusing lyrics muddled the album overall. Thug-for-life Trick Daddy spent nearly a decade representing the Dirty South out of Miami's underground scene before crossing over to the mainstream in the mid 2000s. Making his mark as a mainstay in the crates of Miami club DJs, Trick Daddy's sound is marked by classic, high-energy crunk production, hardcore narratives that extol the virtues of street life, and explicit sex rhymes. He had his first cross-over hit with 2001's singalong "I'm a Thug," but hit pay dirt with the platinum-selling 2004 album THUG MATRIMONY.
