Known for her session work with Neil Young, Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt, and other 1970s pop/rock luminaries, singer Nicolette Larson finally scored her own hit single in '78 with the breezy gem "Lotta Love." This 16-track collection features that renowned tune, along with the funky "Rhumba Girl" and "Let Me Go, Love," a melancholy duet with Michael McDonald. Larson's life was tragically cut short by a cerebral edema in '97, but VERY BEST serves as an affirmation of her considerable talents.
