This is an Enhanced CD, which contains both regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files. Personnel: LaQuisa Franklin (vocals). Recording information: Hypnotize Minds Studio, Memphis, TN. Photographer: Piotr Sikora. Gangsta Boo first came on the scene in 1998 with her successful and superficial single "Where Dem Dollas At?" Both Worlds: *69, produced by hip-hop heavyweights DJ Paul and Juicy "J," is more of the same. Like "Where Dem Dollas At?," tracks like "Can I Get Paid" are drenched in shallow materialism. When not obsessing over dollars, Gangsta Boo focuses on raw sexuality with tracks like "I Faked It." Gangsta Boo shows some signs of growth, particularly on the song "You Gonna Be a Victim" and "Hard Not to Kill," but too often she relies on previous successes, rather than looking toward the future. ~ Jon Azpiri
Vibe (8/01, p.162) - 3 discs out of 5 - "...Staying true to family tradition, Boo keeps it grimy...If it weren't for Boo's spicy flow, the album would sound like one long-ass song..."
