Performer: Various Artists
Producer: David Chesky Distributor: Telarc Distribution Notes: Culled from the Chesky Latin jazz archives, Jazz Latino: A Collection of Latin Inspirations takes 13 songs from 12 different artists (saxophonist Paquito d'Rivera has two tracks, "The Peanut Vendor" and "Chucho"), including Mongo Santamaria, Astor Piazzolla (who, unsurprisingly, plays a tango), and Leny Andrade.
