Performer: Confederate Railroad
Producer: David McLees (Compilation) Distributor: WEA (Distributor) Notes: Recorded between 1992 & 1995. Includes liner notes by Bill DeYoung. All tracks have been digitally remastered. Audio Remasterer: Pat Kraus. Liner Note Author: Bill DeYoung. Photographer: Ron Keith. This edition of Rhino's Essentials series does an effective job of chronicling the majority of hits by the modern country/Southern rock band Confederate Railroad from the early to mid-'90s. Among the original hit recordings are "Queen of Memphis," "She Took It Like a Man," "Jesus and Mama," and "Daddy Never Was the Cadillac Kind." For some reason the 1992 hit "She Never Cried" was excluded from this compilation. ~ Al Campbell
