Performer: Various Artists
Distributor: Madacy Distribution Notes: There are a couple of problems with this three-disc set, starting with the fact that it could have very easily been a double-disc package with no shoehorning of tracks at all. Secondly, nothing here (with the exception of "Remember Walkin' in the Sand" by the Shangri-Las and "Sugar Sugar" by the Archies) is the original single version, with stereo re-recordings by "one of more members of the original group" being used instead. Avoid. ~ Steve Leggett With the exception of "Remember Walkin' In The Sand" by the Shangri-Las, and "Sugar Sugar" by the Archies, all the songs on this three-disc collection have been rerecorded, and are not the original versions. ~ Steve Leggett
