Audio Mixer: Dugan Mcneill. Recording information: Psychic Dog Studios, Prior Lake, MN. It's right difficult to tell the difference between this Kenny Chesney tribute -- issued through tribute album clearinghouse Big Eye -- and its cousin over at the Tribute Sounds label. Both were released on the same day; both feature faceless studio dudes doddering passably through a clutch of Chesney faves. In this Tribute to Kenny Chesney's case, "The Chestnuts" render "Young," "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy," and the breezy "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems" completely twang-less, even more twang-less than the already quite twang-free country-pop of Chesney himself. The singer's most rabid fans might find something here to like, novelty-wise. But ultimately, this tribute is just hoping for a quick cash-in, just like its equally mawkish counterpart. ~ Johnny Loftus
