This soft, sweeping tribute album is filled with dramatic strings and even more dramatic piano paying homage to the queen of soft rock epics, Celine Dion. The absence of her voice is the predominant reason why this record doesn't work as well as it should. The blaring siren of her vocal chords is a crucial reason why fans are so attracted to her works, not the orchestration in the background acting as the launch pad for her instrument. The songs found herein are some of her most well known, but this should not serve as an introductory record for casual listeners.
