While Love to Love You, Baby doesn't eclipse Donna Summer's legacy, it reasonably updates her finest moments to a more contemporary dance music sound with reverence and vibrancy. Starting with a high-energy progressive house take on her duet with Barbra Streisand, legendary house divas Jocelyn Brown and Kym Mazelle belt out "Enough Is Enough" with enough gusto to last beyond its comparatively short running time of five minutes. Contributions from '80s pop stars such as Laura Branigan, Sheena Easton, soul genius Brenda Russell, and synth pop heroes Soft Cell anchor a compilation that finds even the most obscure of artists stepping up to the plate and knocking each song out of the ballpark.
