Apparently put together by a group that calls itself Across the Universe -- peculiarly enough, there are no individual credits -- A Tribute to the Pussycat Dolls contains covers of songs that appeared on PCD, the group's 2005 album, including "Don't Cha," "Stickwitu," "Buttons," and "Beep." Neither the playing nor the singing is particularly bad, but there's no reason to give the disc any attention when the original material is so readily available. These tributes are cranked out with such haste that no one bothered to do any proofreading. On the back of this disc, the Pussycat Dolls are acknowledged for their "supped-up beats." ~ Andy Kellman
