Alliance Notes: For the soundtrack to the much-hyped 2006 thriller SNAKES ON A PLANE, the filmmakers opted for a predominantly emo-oriented album that is kicked off by Cobra Starship, a supergroup consisting of members of the Academy Is and other punk-pop groups. In addition to that band's track, the revved-up "Snakes on a Plane (Bring It)," the collection includes techno-tinged remixes of songs by Panic! at the Disco and Fall Out Boy, as well as a few catchy hip-hop/funk tunes (see Cee-Lo Green and Organized Noize's "Ophidiophobia" and Gym Class Heroes' "New Friend Request") to round out the fun, energetic release.
